Basic hosting
For new simple website builds, basic hosting is included for 12 months from launch, then $120/year with your consent. Basic hosting includes no content edits. Active care includes hosting, so there is no duplicate hosting charge.
We offer renewal 30 days before expiry. You choose whether to renew; no automatic annual charge without consent.
Optional care
Optional $99/month care includes hosting, relevant site software updates, daily site-file backups, scheduled site health checks, and up to 3 small content requests totaling 45 minutes per month. No rollover. New pages, features, integrations and redesigns are quoted first.
Cancel care before the next renewal; service continues through the paid period. Any remaining included or prepaid hosting continues to its original end date. Canceling care does not restart the free year or delete your site or data.
For example, canceling care three months after launch leaves nine months of the original included hosting period.
Small changes and paid edits
Small content changes are edits to existing supplied text or images. Outside care, approved edits are $75/hour: $37.50 minimum for the first 30 minutes, then $18.75 per additional 15 minutes. We confirm an estimate before work.
Up to 3 care requests share a combined 45-minute monthly allowance. Unused requests or time do not roll over. Work beyond the allowance is quoted for approval first.
Moving and ownership
You can move your website anytime and receive one standard export of paid-for site files and applicable data, subject to agreed ownership. Domain renewals, business email and paid integrations are separate.
Canceling care does not delete your site or data. Remaining included or prepaid hosting continues.
What maintenance includes
Site-file backups and scheduled site health checks support maintenance. Relevant site software updates apply where the website uses that software. Availability, security and recovery times are not guaranteed; application and database recovery needs are separately scoped.
Your quote controls the project
Existing accepted quotes and agreements retain their protections. Build prices, discounts and deposit credits are confirmed in your quote. Hosting renewal and care are separate, explicitly chosen services.
